Lauth Property Group and Orange County Holdings LLC in Dispute Over Casino

The partnership of Lauth Property Group from Indianapolis and the Orange County Holdings LLC is in dispute over the Orange County casino and resort project.

The details of the lawsuit were unsealed last week showing the allegations from both companies.

The Orange County Holdings LLC, a group headed by the son of William Cook, a Bloomington billionaire.

The legal dispute on ownership, control and expenses involves William Cook himself.

Due to the disagreement, the three hundred eighty two million dollar projects are now hanging in uncertainty.

It is now unclear if the one thousand two hundred slot casino, golf courses and entertainment centers can open as schedule on November 1.

The Lauth Group claims that though William Cook had no ownership in the Blue Sky Casino LLC, he is actively participating in the decision making in the hotel casino and has overpriced the project.

The Lauth Group disputes that Carl Cook, son of William Cook is just a mere figurehead and incompetent for his position.

Meanwhile, William Cook said that he gains rights contractually to the project as he is the owner of the construction company that handles the project.

Cook claims that the Orange County Holdings has the right to the seventy five percent ownership interest.

The Indiana Gaming Commission is now looking the accusations from each party.
